New classical paintings unveiled at Shanghai Museum

[Photo provided to China Daily] Shanghai Museum is famed for an all-encompassing collection of classical Chinese paintings. Normally, every six months it rotates selected works from this assemblage at a permanent display at its Hall of Classical Chinese Paintings. Nine paintings were recently added to the exhibition, showing the distinctive styles of the Song (960-1279), Yuan (1271-1368), Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties.
