The CFA requires all professional football clubs in China to remove corporate titles in their club names before the 2021 season. The Nanjing-based club, which won the CSL title last season, was reported to owe its players three months' wages and their title-winning bonus. The club's owner, Suning Holdings Group, which also owns Italian side Inter Milan, has been rumored to be in financial difficulty.
